Fairmingo processes personal data as a data controller under the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law (KVKK No. 6698) and other applicable regulations.

- Profile: company, title/headline, LinkedIn link (optional), mutual ratings and badges
- Content: listings you create (title, description, location), fairs you mark as 'going', messages between users, ratings and reviews
- Technical: IP address, browser/device info, web push subscription

- Service delivery: matching people attending the same fair via a listing board
- Account and identity verification (phone OTP)
- Enabling communication between users (messaging)

- Preventing abuse, spam and fraud

5. Data Transfers & Service Providers
Your personal data is shared with the following service providers only as necessary for service delivery:
- Supabase — authentication, database and storage (EU region)
- Netgsm — OTP and verification SMS (Turkey)
- Resend — notification emails (US-based)
- Anthropic (Claude) — AI translation of your listing text into other languages; only listing content is processed for this purpose (US-based)
- Contabo — server hosting (Germany / EU)
Your listings and the visible parts of your profile are visible to other users on the platform, by the nature of a listing board. Cross-border transfers are conducted under KVKK Art. 9, based on standard contractual clauses or explicit consent.
6. Retention Period
- Account data: as long as your account is active
- Listings: automatically archived after the related fair ends
- Security / abuse logs: approximately 180 days
- Records subject to legal retention: the period required by applicable law
7. Your Rights (KVKK Art. 11)
- Learn whether your data is processed
- Request information if it has been processed
- Learn the purpose and whether it is used accordingly
- Request correction if incomplete or inaccurate
- Request deletion or destruction
- Object to processing
- Claim damages in case of harm
